Various practical information concerning your stay in Prague are summarized below.

Accommodation

Participants are kindly asked to arrange their own accommodation. Prague offers a wide range of accommodation options in various categories and styles. We recommend to check the distance to the venue and public-transport connections.

Passports and visas

All visitors entering the Czech Republic must have a valid passport (citizens of the Schengen countries can use their standard ID card instead). Citizens of some countries are required to have an entrance visa. Public transportation

Public transportation system in Prague consists of metro (subway), trams, buses, and a couple of ferries. Short-term tickets with four different periods of validity are available:

  • 30 minutes - 30 CZK
  • 90 minutes - 40 CZK
  • 24 hours - 120 CZK
  • 72 hours - 330 CZK
All tickets are transfer tickets. This means that you are allowed to change between different lines or different kinds of transport. Seniors from 65 years of age travel for free, if they are able to prove their age. More details can be found at the official websites of DPP and PID.
